Lightning Hill Pictures is a film and television development and production company with a mission to create entertaining, exciting original projects with an emphasis on story craft and visual execution.
We aim to create big, fun, meaningful cinematic experiences.
Although our slate leans sci-fi and thriller, we are developing dramatic stories in other genres as well.
Lightning Hill Pictures was a banner formed in 2010 by writer/director Colin Levy along with a core team of collaborators with high standards, generous hearts and a tireless work ethic.

The Team
Colin Levy
Writer/Director
Colin Levy is an award-winning filmmaker from Baltimore, Maryland. Previously he worked at Pixar Animation Studios on seven projects, including INSIDE OUT and FINDING DORY. His animated shorts have accumulated over 10M views online, and his first documentary short was published by the New York Times in 2018.
Andre Danylevich
Producer
Andre Danylevich is a Film and TV producer based out of Los Angeles. Andre most recently served as the post producer on Seth MacFarlane’s Emmy Nominated sci-fi series THE ORVILLE, as well as the latest season of the Duplas Brothers’ ROOM 104. Prior to television, his background was in indie films, producing on the feature films CBGB and SAVANNAH.
Sandro Blattner
Creative Director
Originally from Switzerland, Sandro Blattner is a Visual Effects Supervisor at Zoic Studios, currently leading VFX on the fourth season of FARGO. Previously he worked at Digital Domain and Method Studios as a Lead Compositor, on such films as GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, CLOUD ATLAS, and SAN ANDREAS.
Mike Sundy
Writer
Mike is a screenwriter and author based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a background in Tech. He is a two-time panelist at the Austin Film Festival, as well as a Feature Finalist (top 5 out of 6,500 scripts.) He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and previously worked at Pixar Animation Studios.
Roque Nonini
Writer/Director
Roque Nonini is a NYC-based writer and filmmaker with more than a decade of experience behind the camera. His photography has appeared in publications by New York Magazine, Shape, Workman Publishing, and Bull City Press. His latest documentary examines the colonial roots of Puerto Rico's energy and debt crises.
